Open Water Diver Course
Referral Course
Requirements
You will need to be
the minimum of 15 years old (if under 15 please see Junior Divers)
comfortable in the water and have basic swimming skills
in reasonable health but you do not need to be an athlete! (You will be required to fill in a medical statement and questionnaire)
Certification
By choosing a referral you will complete the full PADI Open Water Diver certification in segments within two dive centres. This referral option is typically chosen when you want to complete the open water section of the PADI Open Water Diver Certification abroad.
This referral record is valid for 12 months from the last training segment completion date. You will be required to ensure you complete your open water dives at a different PADI dive centre within this time period to gain full PADI Open Water Diver Certification.
The completed PADI Open Water Diver Certification is a full entry level certification which enables you to dive with a buddy independently of professional supervision to the maximum of 18 metres anywhere in the world within your training and experience for life.
What we provide
The PADI Open Water Diver Referral Course option below requires you to learn about diving by a mixture of knowledge development and confined water diving. Liquid Divers can guarantee the maximum class size of 4 students (unless by prior agreement).
Knowledge Development
Course manual and related materials for home study including support as required during this period by a PADI Instructor.
We recommend you give yourself 2-4 weeks to read the manual and complete the quick quiz’s and knowledge review questionnaires in a relaxed way.
A focused review of what you have studied, including question and answer sessions and your final exam in a comfortable environment .
Confined Water Dives
5 confined water dives taken over a period of two sessions within a local swimming pool.
You will learn basic skills that all divers need conducted in a relatively low stress environment.
You will practise and apply what you have learnt during your knowledge development training.

Payment Terms
All course fees can be paid in full at the point booking or
we will require:
a non refundable initial payment of £100.00 when placing your
booking, at which time you will receive all the required course
materials.
the final payment of the outstanding balance the minimum of 7 days
prior to the course start.
