What  we provide
First Step - The PADI Discover Scuba Course is an introduction to scuba diving in a highly supervised and relaxed manner. I dispels common misconceptions by letting individuals try in for themselves. Under the guidance of a PADI Professional, new diver learn basic safety concepts, put on equipment and swim around underwater in a closely supervised environment.

Second Step - The PADI Junior Open Water Diver Course requires you to learn about diving by a mixture of knowledge development, confined water diving and open water diving.

Knowledge Development is a mixture of :
  • Home study supported by the students parent/s or guardian/s.
  • Classroom quick quizzes and knowledge review questionnaires in a fun and relaxed way.
  • Focused review of what has been studied and final multiple choice exam in a comfortable environment.

Confined Water Dives

  • 5 confined waters dives taken over a period of 10 sessions within Hounsdown’s swimming pool.
  • The student will learn basic skills that all divers need conducted in a relatively low stress environment.
  • The student will practise and apply what they have learnt during their knowledge development training.

Open Water Dives

  • 4 open water dives taken over a period of two sessions at Horsea in Portsmouth. This is one of the UK’s leading diving training sites.
  • During these dives you will put in to practise the skills you have learnt during the confined water dives.
