The PADI Divemaster Course is the first solid step into PADI’s diving leaderships ranks. As a Divemaster you will be working towards honing your diving skills and knowledge, building up exemplary rescue skills, and are expected to show professionalism, good judgement, and be a role model to students and other divers.

This certification is a prerequisite for PADI Assistant Instructor, and Open Water Scuba Instructor.

What  we provide
The PADI Divemaster Course consists of three modules; Knowledge Development, Water Skills & Stamina, and Practical Application.

Liquid Divers can guarantee to provide advise, and fully support you throughout this course and can work towards designing this course around your requirements. The minimum number of sessions required for this course is 6-7 + home study (and can be met) but Liquid Divers recommend a slower approach to gain more hands on experience.

Knowledge Development
This is a combination of :
  • Course manuals and related materials for home studying (please see ‘Cost Section’ for further details) including support as required during this period by a PADI Instructor.
  • Class room sessions
  • Evaluation by written exams.
  • You complete an emergency assistance plan

Water Skills & Stamina

  • 4 Stamina Exercises (swims, tread water, snorkel swim & diver tow)
  • This teaches and develops role model level demonstration skills including the 20 basic scuba skills
  • Refines your rescue skills beyond PADI Rescue Diver
  • Preparation for higher teaching levels (Assistant Instructor & Open Water Scuba Instructor)

Practical Application

  • 3 training exercises (Map making, Underwater problem solving & Divemaster conducted program)
  • Internship in which you are supervising and assisting training and certified divers

or

  • 3 training exercises (as above)
  • 4 practical training exercises (Certified divers in open water, Open water diver students in confined water, Open water diver students in open water and Continuing education student divers in open water)

This course will be completed in a combination of locations including classroom, swimming pool, UK’s leading training sites and the South Coast.

We recommend you give yourself the minimum of 2-4 weeks to read at least chapters 1-2 of the Divemaster Manual and complete the quick quiz’s and knowledge review questionnaires in a relaxed way before starting this course.

Please contact us for further information and advice on this course and have a look at the PADI website (www.padi.com)
